Java security precludes operation of the original realtime display. Thanks to Nishith Singh, there is now an HTML 5 version that works beautifully. You can find it at Realtime Basketobserver. You can select one of several different displays, and there is a Utilities button that offers more options, including sound. More information about the display can be found on the applet's About tab.

We have a new Realtime Display in a Different Style, courtesy of Ronaldo Barbachano. It shows a map with color dots for each of the running eggs and place markers for historical egg locations. There are a number of options, including the possibility to display interconnections, a display of earthquake activity, and some others. As time allows we can post more explanations.
